I Come to you

Show me how you feed, where you feed
I want to see what a normal feed looks like for you and your baby. For most families, the majority of feeds are happening at home. By seeing you feed your baby at home, I get a better picture your baby's average feed. I get see baby feeding in a comfortable setting (not the foreign landscape of an office), allowing me to really craft a care plan that works for your family.

In Depth Care
The benefit of home visits is that we have 90 minutes of uninterrupted time to work together. Many hospitals or pediatric offices offer lactation care in an office setting where you get some latch assistance and potentially a weighed feed. During my visits, we review you pregnancy and birth history, feeding concerns, pumping, bottling, along with full oral exam. We can talk about different tools and approaches and then tailor your care plan to what feels "right" for your family. My offering is to go deep with families because I feel there is more nuance to feeding your baby than tweaking your latch.
